Upcoming Daylight Saving Time Clock Changes-       This Saturday Night      October 25th 2014

Per Zillow
Here's a good Fall Tune-up Checklist:

Homeownership comes with its fair share of routine seasonal tasks and chores. But keeping track of what needs to be done - and when - can be a challenge.  To help homeowners stay on top of their maintenance projects, Lowe's offers easy to follow checklists for each season.
Get your home ready for fall and winter with these tasks:

Indoor Tasks
When you turn your clocks back, change batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Install weatherstripping where needed around the windows.
Have the furnace professionally inspected.
Dust blinds and vacuum curtains throughout the house.
Change or clean furnace filters. (consult manufacturers instructions to determine how frequently this should be done.
Clean kitchen appliances inside and out, including refrigerator coils.
Maintain clean drains by adding one-half cup of baking soda followed by one-half cup white vinegar. After 10 minutes, flush with boiling water.

It's Getting Colder...
And the air is getting drier...

Which means static electricity, itchy skin, bloody noses and louder snoring.  Relieve all these annoying creatures of winter with a whole house humidifier.

LOVE this beautiful Autumn weather - Hope it continues!
